LUCAS ENTERTAINMENT'S PRODUCTION OF THE YEAR "THE INTERN" HAS BEGUN SHIPPING TO RETAIL

Lucas Entertainment's sex comedy "The Intern,"[2007], starring Lucas exclusive Ben Andrews, is now shipping nationwide to retail stores for $69.95.The Director's Edition of the film is available now for $59.95 exclusively at LucasEntertainment.com and is currently being shipped to press for review.
"I believe the film itself came out so well that I've now designated it our film of the year," Lucas Entertainment President and CEO Michael Lucas told JRL. Lucas continues.. "As a comedy, it is a complete 180 in tone and style from our Best Picture winners 'Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita' and 'Dangerous Liaisons.' I have a strong need to always do something completely different and new.
And this time, it's about spoofing the industry and hopefully making everyone laugh. I hope we raised the bar in another genre of porn."
The Director's Edition of the film, available only at LucasEntertainment.com, is jam-packed with exclusive bonus scenes and extras not available on the retail version.
Included is the much buzzed-about explicit watersports/cum-eating scene between Lucas and Freshmen magazine's Freshman of the Year, Zack Randall.
Written and directed by multiple GAYVN award-winner Tony Dimarco, the film also includes several firsts for a Lucas Entertainment production, including film audio commentary by Lucas, Dimarco, and publicity director Bryan Christopher, as well as an interactive script where viewers can click on the script to watch the actual scenes they are reading.
Also included are cast interviews by acclaimed artist/illustrator Robert W. Richards (who also makes a hilarious cameo in the film), a production blog by Official intern Blogger Mike Kashey (originally found at www.TheInternXXX.com), and three hidden video "Easter eggs."
"This isn't your average porn DVD," said Dimarco. "I really wanted the extras to be as fun as the movie itself. Mainstream movies have amazing extras... why can't porn movies? I think anyone who discovers the three Easter eggs will be pleasantly surprised about what they are. Where they are exactly, however, is up to them to find!"
The plot of "The Intern" follows "ugly" Benny (Lucas exclusive Ben Andrews, owner of the biggest dick in the industry) as he maneuvers his way through the wacky, sexy offices of fictitious Trojan Studios, where Botox injecting bosses (Michael Lucas), sassy assistants (Lucas exclusive Christian Cruz), and beefy deliver men (2007 GAYVN Best Newcomer winner Matt Cole) abound.
The staff soon discover that Benny may have a "bigger" talent in his pants. Also starring Lucas exclusives Jonathan Vargas and Ray Star, plus Derrick Hanson, Jason Ridge, Jimmy, and Zack Randall.
