AUTHORITIES RAID AND SHUTDOWN TEMPTUS SEX SHOP IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND

TEMPTUS, located at 344 Victoria Road, Glasgow, was raided last week by authorities. Police seized hundreds of sex toys, xxx magazines and gay and hetero xxx dvds.The retail outlet was known all over scotland to always be packed to capacity with party gear,gifts, DVDs and novelties.

Authorities raided the Victoria Road location just before 12:00 noon due to an overwhelming amount of complaints brought by the residence of the neighborhood.
It was truly a sight to see for locals as they walked by the TEMPTUS location to see authorities loaded their vans with all of the merchandise from the retailer. It looked as though that perhaps a "terror ring" operation had unfolded and they were taking in serious evidence against the parties involved.
The retail outlet was known for saucy gifts, games and gimmicks to live it up with, to work with, birthday parties. From drinking games to naughty novelties and of course the love essentials, all for the cheapest of prices.
A report is being sent to the procurator fiscal of all evidence seized. A spokeswoman for the police stated.. "Officers carried out a search, under warrant, and recovered a large quantity of sexual aids and pornographic material. The premises have been closed."

According to Glasgow charter, shops must obtain a special licence under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 to sell such items.The advert also states that the shop operates a mail order outlet to service around the globe customers.
Glasgow City Council currently has no licensed sex shops and has a strict policy of not granting sex shop licences anywhere in the city.
High Street chain Ann Summers, which has an outlet in Sauchiehall Street, has not been targeted by the authorities because it is licensed as as a lingerie shop, and not an adult sex shop.
