She told FOX 7 she is not scared even though authorities say the suspect stabbed her co worker several times and stole money from the cash register. Travis County investigators say the Hispanic man in his mid 20's to mid 30's violently attacked the clerk around 5:50 Saturday morning.
“He stabbed the clerk, took some money, went back, stabbed the clerk again, and went back looking for more money," said Roger Wade with the Travis County Sheriff's Office. Wade also says the suspect intended to kill the clerk. That is why the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. "He was cooperating with the guy so there's really no reason for the suspect to do that."

Debbie Boyd is the daytime manager at the Waterhole Saloon next door. The violent robbery scares her enough to change who she allows in her bar. "If I’m here by myself, I keep the doors locked until one of my regulars come in,” Boyd said. Boyd knows it is not good for business but says safety comes first. That is why in addition to security cameras at the Adult Video Store, clerks are asking to see ID's, locking certain doors after hours, and staying close to weapons.
The victim's mother, who did not want to go on camera, tells us her son was stabbed in his heart, arms, hand, and lung. Despite those wounds, he is expected to be released from the hospital at the end of the week. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 35. He is 5’9” to 5’11” tall.
