RETAIL REPORTS NUMBERS ON THE UP SWING AFTER LACK LUSTER SALES

After a lack luster week in both rentals and sales last week, retailers report that revenue was up compared to two weeks of low numbers.

While novelties took a hit of 12% in retail sales, DVD's were up 6%. A whopping 4.7% up compared to this time in March in 2009. Consumers are spending stronger this year but are being very selective in their purchases.
