POLICE RAID HOME ADULT BUSINESS NEAR WEST SIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A home-run adult sex store was raided late Wednesday on Crestfield near Highway 151 and Military Drive.

The suspect, Billy Davis, does not deny that he had nude male gatherings in his backyard and that he marketed these sex toys and had more than 1,000 porn DVDs in stock at his home.

But police say because he was near Passmore Elementary School, it was illegal. "He didn't have permits and it was within 1,000 feet of a school," said Matthew Porter, San Antonio Police Department.

Davis says he has permits. Detectives say after they go through all the evidence, Davis could face charges of obscenity and permit violations.
