PITBULL DECLINES NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2009 BLATINO AWARDS SHOW

This came through to the JRL Headquarters last Friday, July 24, 2009. Mega Urban Gay Porn studio Pitbull Productions, Inc, has declined the recently announced Blatino Awards nominations of Pitbull Productions.Pitbull cited that they have had a contentious relationship with the show's backer Flava Works Films.
In fact, Pitbull Productions and Flava Works Films have had a long history of litigation between them.

Parent comp;any FlavaMen Magazine and their subsidiary Flava Works Films announced last week their inaugural slate of Blatino Awards nominees, recognizing the top ethnic clubs, promoters, gay adult film stars and urban studios, films and websites by and for African American and Latino Men.
Pitbull Productions captured two nominations; Best Studio and Best Latin DVD for "Thugz Paradise Rio" on its Blatino Gold label.

Pitbull Vice President Bruce Fleming told JRL "Pitbull has a long history of litigation against Phillip Bleicher," "Furthermore, Pitbull does not endorse the types of movies included in the nominations, nor does it wish to have anything to do with any award show that Mr. Bleicher is involved with."

In response to Pitbull's statements, Flava Works released a statement of his own last week pertaining to Pitbull's demand to be pulled from their production.According to Flava Works Magazine, "Nominees were and are determined by fan submissions to BlatinoAwards.com.
Pitbull Productions may decline to participate in the Blatino Awards, but their fans nominated them, not Flava Works," stated Bleicher.
He continued.... "Members of the public cast their votes online to determine the finalists."
Voting to determine the winners is now open to the public through Aug. 10.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony during the Atlanta Black Pride Celebration over Labor Day weekend. The summer is still heating up JRL fans. Stay tuned for more as ths story is still unfolding.
