After an exhausting effort in confirming this story, we have learned that this is indeed a publicity stunt on behalf of Lucas Entertainment.
After contacting sources inside the 6th Precinct, 5th Precinct, 7th precinct and 9th precinct, detectives have stated that yes a body was discovered in a manhattan apartment but is not releasing any additional information at this time.
