MAN ARRESTED IN VEGAS ON MOLESTATION OF 4 YEAR OLD BOY

55-year-old Ronald William Crocker was arrested connection with the alleged molestation of a 4-year-old boy from his neighbor who had come over to visit the defendant's grandchildren. He was arrested in Las Vegas, police said.Ronald William Crocker was arrested Tuesday at his home by members of the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force, stated Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
According to police officials,.Crocker was booked into the Clark County, NV., Detention Center on suspicion of a sexual act with a child under the age of 10. Currently Crocker is awaiting extradition to Orange County, California.

The suspected molestation took place almost a year ago on February 8, 2009 when the 4-year-old boy went to Crocker's Santa Ana home to visit with his grandchildren, stated Cpl. Bertagna. "DNA evidence proved that the boy was sexually molested adding that detectives had confirmed that Crocker was already registered in the DNA National Data Base" stated Bertagna.

But by the time detectives had the evidence to arrest Crocker, he was gone. Once Crocker attempting to leave the jurisdiction, a massive man hunt was under and it also prompted the District Attorney's Office to issue a $1 million warrant for his arrest. Detectives received leads that Crocker was in Las Vegas and he was arrested without incident.
