ONLINE DEVELOPMENT LAUNCH MALESERVE.TV FOR CONSUMERS

Online Developments, LLC has announced the launch of MaleServe.TV, a pay-per-minute VOD site powered by its new pay-per-minute Flash Video streaming platform MaleserveTM.“MaleServe.TV provides near DVD-quality movies to any PC or Mac via a web browser.

No additional software is needed, and customers pay only for what they watch. It’s a great way to watch your favorite movies without having to have a DVD in hand,” states Bruce Weiner, Head of IT for Online Developments.
Customers will be able to choose from a huge selection of gay movies from powerhouse studio brands such a Eurocreme, Lucas Entertainment, Raw Films, Millivres Prowler, Alpha Male Media, and Video Boys.
The biggest difference between the MaleServe Platform and the other market leading platforms is that studio producers have the option to set the individual cost per minute for their content. Compared with others, which have a “one price fits all” model, this incentivizes studios to pre-release their DVD content to the web ahead of market DVD releases at a higher price than their back catalog titles.

“In today’s market, producers are looking beyond DVD sales to monetize their content. Our VOD platform allows producers to pre-release a feature DVD, before or during the manufacturing phase. Because it is a pre-release they can set a higher per-minute price and start seeing income on their films within one month of VOD release instead of the five to six month window in DVD wholesale,” says Hugo Harley, Product Manager.
Also launching is EUROCREME.TV, the first of a number of planned streaming video portals powered by the MaleServeTM platform. “Eurocreme.tv is a custom designed white label that plugs into the clients existing online network.
In the case of Eurocreme.tv, the producer did not want a cookie cutter white label, they wanted a solution where they could control the look, feel and content, especially since they wanted to run a “condom only” solution. We will soon be launching other stand alone solutions; each one built and branded according to each client’s needs, while allowing them access to stream our library of top shelf gay content,” says Managing Director of Online Developments, Jason Roberts.
