Buckshot Man Danny Roddick has just completed the final touches on his performance in the starring role of Jerry Douglas's new film for Buckshot Productions, Brotherhood [2007].

After viewing the final cut, award-winning writer-director Douglas had decided to add several new lines of voice-over to the soundtrack, and Roddick recently spent one afternoon recording the new audio track at the COLT Studio Group’s Buckshot studio in San Francisco, California.

The film will be released worldwide on August 15, 2007.

"It was a weird feeling to go back and find the character again after all of these months," said Roddick. "We filmed the production early last April, and it took awhile to turn me back into the character again. His name's Chandler - and in some ways, we're a lot alike, but in others, not at all. That's where the acting comes in. But after a few minutes, everything fell back into place - it was kind of like finding an old friend and picking up right where you left off."

In BROTHERHOOD, Roddick plays the role of Chandler, one of the most popular guys on campus and a pillar of his college fraternity. When one of his fraternity brothers discovers that Chandler has been secretly working his way through college making all-male adult movies, all hell breaks loose. Determined not to resign, Chandler sets out to discover the secrets of the other brothers and "level the playing field." The entire film takes place during one long, hot night at the frat house after a formal dance.

BROTHERHOOD marks the sixth film Roddick has made for Buckshot since his debut in Kristofer Weston’s sextravaganza HARD Studies. His other films since then include Boot Black Blues, BIG RIG Extended Cab Premium Edition, MUSCLE RANCH II and Olympus’ debut feature HOSTILE, directed by Roland Dane."

"But this role was so different from any role I'd ever played before, either dramatically or sexually," admits Roddick. "For one thing, before the film is over, my character has had physical contact - in one way or another - with every other member of the cast. You know, most of the time you have one or two scene partners, and sometimes you don't even meet half the cast - but this time I was called to the set every day, and before the shoot was over, I'd had scenes with every single member of the cast. Now that was what I call a lot of fun!"

Among the other members of the all-star cast with whom he worked was Jan Fischer, who plays his roommate, a foreign exchange student. There was instant chemistry between the two stars. "Jan is so beautiful," Roddick declared. "But his inner beauty is even more beautiful than his physical beauty. I felt like I should be paying Buckshot for the privilege of working with him!"

Buckshot Man Dean Phoenix and Kevin Armstrong were among the other stars he performed with, and he was equally enthusiastic about both of them. "I'd wanted to work with Dean Phoenix ever since I'd seen him in BuckleRoos," he admitted. "And Kevin Armstrong is nothing like the tough, hard-nosed marine type he plays in the film. He was great fun to be around, both on the set and off."

There are a number of newcomers in the film - including
Justin Burkshire, Kurt Wild, Jeremy Michaels, and Tory Mason, and Roddick confessed that "It was quite a change of pace for me. Up till then, I'd always been the newcomer on the set, and suddenly I was the veteran, helping them and showing them the ropes."

Roddick summed up his experience in BROTHERHOOD, by saying, "The role was the biggest one I've been given so far, and at first, it scared the hell out of me. All those lines! But the wonderful thing is that Jerry makes you feel like an actor, makes you feel that you can do anything he asks you to. He demands a great deal of you, and you in turn give the scene everything you've got, no matter how many takes are required to get what he wants."
