Yes, it is offiical now JRL Fans, Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes have now been formally charged in the January 24th, 2007 murder of Cobra Video owner Bryan Kocis. The duo was arrested in Virginia Beach, VA and off the top, fought the extradition proceedings to go back to Pennsylvania.
They are both accused of slashing the gay xxx film producer's throat, stabbing him twenty-eight (28) times and then after that, set Kocis's body a flames along with his home to hide the evidence of their brutal crime. Lead investigators in the case believe that Kerekes and Cuadra were able to gain access to Kocis' house under the false hood of Harlow Cuadra wanting to be a new Gay XXX Model for Cobra Entertainment.
Police arrested both Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes after discovering new evidence on Kocis' computer which by luck, managed to survive the blaze at the Kocis' house. Police investigators found an email which arranged the meeting between Bryan Kocis and Harlow Cuadra. Investigators believe that the sole motive in this murder case is that Bryan Kocis was black balling and/or blocking the future works of both Cuadra and Kerekes from working with mega Gay XXX superstars such as Sean Lockhard (aka - Brent Corrigan), who at the time of the slaying under contract.
Court records show that the pair met with Corrigan and an associate to discuss filming
a movie together and that Cuadra suggested he would kill Kocis if necessary to move forward with the movie. “What if Bryan [Kocis] left the country?” Cuadra said, according to court papers. “Harlow knows someone who would do anything for him,” Kerekes said.
Lead detectives and the prosecution believe that after their initial meeting, a plan was set to carry out this brutal crime.
Court records also show that evidence against the pair includes surveillance footage of them buying a knife a day before the murder that matches the knife used in the slaying, witnesses identifying a gray SUV that the duo rented in front of Kocis’ house the fateful night, damning phone conversations and video cameras in the pair’s possession that police believe belonged to Kocis.
Harlow Cuadra stated in his statement that “Actually seeing that fucker going down, it’s actually sick, but it made me feel better inside,” Cuadra said, according to the documents. “It almost felt like I got revenge and I know that sounds fucked up.”
Both defendants have pleeded innocent in the case and are now awaiting trial.
