FSC AND HOTMOVIES.COM ANNOUNCE THIRD ANNUAL ONLINE FUNDRAISING EVENT, FREEDOM STREAMS ’08

HotMovies.com again announces it will hold a one-day online fundraising event, FreedomStreams ’08, to raise funds for FSC’s ongoing operations and anticipated 2257 litigation expenses for 2008. The online event will be held on April 15, 2008.HotMovies.com raised close to $20,000 for the FSC Legal Defense Fund last year at this time and hopes to raise even more in 2008.

FSC would like to again express its profound appreciation to the studios that participated in FreedomStreams ’07 last year. Many studios came together under the leadership of National A-1 Internet (dba HotMovies.com), which matched all donations dollar for dollar.

“This will be the third year National A-1, the parent company to HotMovies.com, has led the way to raise funds through a FreedomStreams event. It took months of preparation and hard work by the staff of HotMovies.com to enlist the support of their online studios for this special event.

“The concept was brilliantly simple and the end result was a collaborative partnership that was, to date, responsible for the largest member-driven fundraising event in FSC’s history,” said Scott L. Lowther, FSC Director of Membership Services. “With the help of our member studios and HotMovies’ leadership, we hope to raise even more this year!”
With various states and the federal Government continuing to pass more and more anti adult-industry legislation, the time for us to remain vigilant is now.
