DINK FLAMINGO TAKES A CHANCE WITH LONG DEPLOYMENT

Retailers will want to latch on to the success of Dink Flamingo's Active Duty Production, Long Deployment, starring mainstream porn star Barrett Long. Flamingo took a chance when he decided to pair Long with his stable of Active Duty real military men and it paid off big.
Flamingo says, "I wasn't sure how the Active Duty fans were going to respond to me throwing a major porn star in the mix with the amteur series. I thought they'd nail me to the cross and call me a sell-out."
Much to Flamingo's surprise, Long Deployment set major sales records on the Active Duty web site. Active Duty fans were surprisingly receptive. "I wanted to work with Barrett for quite some time. It was more of a personal interest and I took a chance. Luckily the fans loved it and embraced the idea. The success of Long Deployment has inspired two sequels which are being edited now, Long Deployment 2 and Long Deployment 3. I'm excited about this new mix of stars and amateurs." says Flamingo.
While shooting the Long Deployment series, Flamingo and Barrett Long forged a friendship that has led to a partnership where they will produce a line of videos under the Pink Bird Media label. They plan to release the first in this series sometime late this summer. Long has been looking for an honest partner after having a few deals go bad and in the end chose Flamingo.
"Dink's an awesome guy and has great karma. I was tired of slack asses promising the moon and never delivering. I feel comfortable and assured that partnering with Dink will be the best deal I've ever made." says Long. Flamingo adds, "Barrett has made quite a name for himself in the adult industry and I was surprised to hear some of his horror stories about how he'd been mislead. We get a along great and Barrett has a really good sense of humor and sense of others. I'm very excited about this pairing."
Flamingo is known for taking chances. After his studio was under fire from the Army (January 2006) for using it's men in his highly popular Active Duty series, Flamingo continued to blaze forward. He hasn't missed a beat in continuing to drum out some of the hottest real military men in amateur gay porn available today.
