CHANNEL 1 RELEASING LEADS GRABBY AWARDS NOMINATIONS

West Hollywood, CA – This past week, The Grabby Awards announced the nominees for the 2007 awards show. Channel 1 Releasing is at the front of the pack with 21 nominations. Now in their 16th year, the Grabby Awards are sponsored by Gay Chicago Magazine and have become a fan favorite. The Awards Show, co-hosted by Chi Chi LaRue and Honey West, is held in conjunction with the International Mister Leather gathering in Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend.

Joining LaRue and West as a host of this year’s event will be Rascal Exclusive Johnny Hazzard. Johnny is one of three porn star co-hosts who will be appearing on stage adding to the excitement of this years show.

“Because of their love for the gay porn world, those guys at Gay Chicago Magazine love to throw what is quickly becoming the fun gay porn industry get together of the year,” LaRue said about the annual event.

Among the studio’s 21 nominations are Director Doug Jeffries’ Delinquents, for Best Video. Chi Chi LaRue’s Sized Up is nominated for Best All-Sex Video. In the Best Comedy Video category Doug Jeffries’ 2nd Inning (Little Big League 2) is up against Coco LaChine’s reality spoof, Fucking with the Stars. All Worlds Video’s Winner Takes All is up for Best International Video and Rascal Video’s Leather Sessions is nominated for Best Leather Video. Rascal Exclusives Benjamin Bradley, Jan Fishcher, Johnny Hazzard and Luca DiCorso are also nominated for individual performance awards. All Worlds Exclusive Tommy Blade is up for multiple awards, including Newcomer of the Year.

The 16th annual Grabby Awards Show is Saturday, May 26th (Memorial Day Weekend) 2007 at the Park West Theater, located at 322 W. Armitage in Chicago. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets go on sale Monday, April 2nd, 2007.
