MAN ACCUSED OF LEWD CONDUCT IN COBB COUNTY'S BARNES AND NOBLE

Cobb County police officers arrested Gary Wayne Garvin aged 60, for allegedly masturbating in the children’s book section of Barnes and Noble located at Town Center Prado, 50 Barrett Pkwy Ste. 3000 in Kennesaw.Gary Wayne Garvin, 60, was charged with public indecency and child molestation.
According to investigators on the scene, witnesses reported that a male was sitting in the store and was in the presence of female juveniles when he began to allegedly masturbate in front of them.

When the male left the parking lot in what witnesses described as a white Ford Mustang no year mentioned, they were able to copy down his Georgia tag information. Gary Wayne Garvin posted bail of $40,000.00 and is now awaiting trial.

Detectives are asking that anyone present at the Barnes and Noble on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at approximately 4 p.m. to contact them at (770) 801-3470 in regards to this case.
