A survey conducted by the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education found that thei people who took part in the research stated that they would feel better about purchasing sex toys at a drugstore, as opposed to the Internet or from Retail Adult Boutiques.
"We know from our research that in Apoteket today, these types of products are demanded," Apoteket spokesman Linge Bergman stated in a press release. "The sexual life is an important part of life for most people," Bergman added. "We want to have "sex toys" at mainstream stores, where there are a lot of customers so that everyone can feel anonymous when they are buying them."
Apoteket, is the country’s leading drugstore retail chain and, will begin stocking sex toys in 50 of their 950 retail outlets across the country. IT has not been made clear as to what types of sex toys will be available. According to sources, the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education has been tapped to help in determing which sex toys will be selected.

"We want to de-dramatize the use of sex help tools, and help people to a better sex life, with or without a partner," Apoteket spokeswoman Eva Fernvall said. "We know that a good sex life is important for well-being and health and Apoteket sees this as an important part of a wider selection of health-related products and services."
Mainstream may want to get prepared for this in the USA because with Sweden taking the first step in this business venture which can only result in legal tax revenue for the country, USA officials may also begin pressing major chains in the America to start the process of allowing sex toys to be sold on American soil in your neighborhood retail chain stores.
