AMATEUR STRAIGHT GUYS RE-OPENS SITE AFTER FOUR MONTH HIATUS
Dink Flamingo of ActiveDuty.com joins existing ASG co-owner Doug DeLong to form a new team

Four months after the site closed its doors, decade old website Amateur Straight Guys whom can be found at (www.AmateurStraightGuys.com), reopens today in what the owners refer to as the website’s “beta test”.

“In the course of the last two to three weeks I have been overwhelmed with messages of support from former members and fans of ASG who have expressed to me how much they missed the site and how happy they are of the news of our imminent return” said Doug De Long founder and partner in the site’s new holding company: Double D Holdings LLC.
The name is significant in that it represents the names of the old and new owners of Amateur Straight Guys being Doug De Long and Dink Flamingo. Flamingo, famous for his military video exploits on his very successful website Active Duty (www.ActiveDuty.com) signed on as a partner in the venture about one month ago buying out the interests of former ASG co-owner Jay Huffhines.

“I am as excited as you are about the rebirth of Amateur Straight Guys. It is a brand I have come to love and respect over the years and am very proud to now be a part of it”, said Flamingo to ASG fans in a recent blog posting.
Though the company’s new headquarters will be in San Diego where Dink Flamingo’s Active Duty Productions is also headquartered, De Long will remain in the site’s former location in Tempe, Arizona and will serve as the principle Director for first few months.
“I am pumped to be back and producing and directing again but long term we will be looking for new hosts for the site and really want to pick unknowns who have a similar passion for getting a straight guy to do “not so straight” things, said De Long.

The site’s unveiling occurs today, April 23 and former members and fans of ASG will be able to see many of their old favorite videos once again and in a new environment as well as the site has been completely redesigned with the integration of a new content management system.
Active weekly production will begin as the site celebrates its 10th anniversary on May 10. “We wanted to officially open on a very significant milestone date, May 10 and have double the reason to celebrate not only the website’s return but also a decade of hot content” according to Dink Flamingo.

Members who sign up during the site’s first thirty days will be given free access to Flamingo’s other websites, Active Duty (www.ActiveDuty.com as well as My Straight Buddy (www.MyStraightBuddy.com) in addition to other permanent perks such as a coupon to watch sixty free movies on AEBN and an “all the time” member discount of $10 in the site’s DVD store.“We are so confident that this is the right formula, the right time and the right pairing that we're prepared to label this new era as ASG's 'Golden Age” said De Long.
