Police detectives launched an undercover sting operation which resulted in two titles that are the fore front of the investigation and charges. The two titles were both heterosexual; "Sugar Britches" [2007] and a classic for the hetero market, City Girls: Extreme Gang Bang [2001]. Prosecutors will wait until the outcome of the first trial to pursue the second which is destined to take place according to investigators.
The dream team defense team which consists of Paul Cambria, Tate Love, Louis Sirkin, and John Hill, counter-argued that it would be unfair to their clients to have multiple trials over these allegations. "We're always concerned when a prosecutor picks 20 tapes, for example, and then says you have to face five trials, because it gives them several chances," Cambria said. "Not only that, it's extremely expensive."
The first pretrial motion hearings are set to begin on May 27, 2008. Stay tuned to JRL for more on this story as it develops.
