It's a big day for the Adult Film Industry against the conservative agenda of America.

The township of Cherry Hill was ordered to pay
$ 612,500 to Adult Shop owner Jim Restaino. Restaino wanted to open an adult video store in the Barclay section of town.

Under a recently announced settlement, the would-be sex shop owner, Jim Restaino of Union County, has agreed to execute a deed that would bar any "sexually oriented business" from the site at Route 70 and Kenwood Drive, adjacent to a residential area.

The planned shop had sparked fierce opposition from its potential neighbors and other township residents, who joined in a campaign led by the Barclay Area Civic Association.

"We're thrilled that the adult store is not opening in front of our neighborhood," Theresa Mohrfeld, the association's secretary, told the press last Monday.

"I don't think that's the kind of business you want in the same place where children are playing."
