XBIZ 2008 AWARDS FEATURES NEW GAY CATEGORIES FOR GLBT

Our dear friends at XBIZ, informed JRL that they have added several Gay categories to their Nomination lineup this year.

The 2008 XBIZ Awards nominations are now open, and industry professionals can vote at the official website XBIZAwards.com. The XBIZ Awards ceremony will take place Feb. 7 at The Highlands in Hollywood, Calif., and this year will break new ground by featuring an expanded list of award categories.

The new Gay categories are as follows;

GLBT Web Company of the Year
GLBT Studio of the Year
GLBT Feature Movie of the Year
GLBT Director of the Year
GLBT Performer of the Year
And
Lifetime Achievement: GLBT Performer

The 6th Annual XBIZ Awards has earned industrywide recognition as one of the outstanding industry ceremonies of the year. Yet again stepping up their game, XBIZ has extended the list of award categories. The website features a complete list of the 2008 award categories, and detailed information on how nominations can be submitted. The nominee submission period begins today, November 1st and lasts until
December 31, 2007.

"The expanded 2008 categories reflect the growth and expansion of XBIZ’s product line, which now spans across all of the major sectors of adult entertainment. We are thrilled that we’re now recognizing an even wider spectrum of industry excellence," XBIZ President Alec Helmy said.
