SEAN STORM CHILLS WITH OUR OWN PAUL GOLDBERG

Paul: All I can say is thank you Sean for hanging out with us on JRL. How've you been?
Sean: Thanks. I've been doing really good. Just enjoyed a bit of a vacation and am now getting ready to go into production again on our next two projects.
Paul: Juiced "The Need to Breed! [2007] is doing very well in retail. Do you think it matches against your mega hit Storm Surge [2006] and Direct Deposit [2006]?
Sean: Good question, and it's a question that we've been curious about ourselves ever since we released DIRECT DEPOSIT, and that is "How will our first all-sex video compare to our plotted sex videos?" From a poll I conducted off my Yahoo Fan Site, JUICED: THE NEED TO BREED is the favorite video of our four releases, with STORM SURGE the second favorite. This news, and the encouraging sales coming in from THE NEED TO BREED, has given us the confidence to produce more all-sex features in addition to the storyline features. From the beginning, it was important for us to give
Cre8tive Juices it's own unique flavor. I wanted to provide consumers with a product that was different from the rest - mainly out of fear that Cre8tive Juices might get lost in the mix as a new company competing with other more established bareback companies. So for our first three releases, we kept to the same game-plan of producing top-quality bareback films with plotlines. As we shot those first three films, we also shot various all-sex scenes that we knew we were going to include in an all-sex feature (THE NEED TO BREED) once we were able to get our name brand first established through the plotline films. Now that we know that both genres are successful for us, we can provide films across the board and not turn away fans of all-sex movies or fans of plotted movies. In other words, no matter what your preference is, Cre8tive Juices has a title that will meet your needs.
Paul: You are a spontaneous director and performer. How did you come to the magical number of 12 for your cast?
Sean: You know, I really didn't have a finite number of performers in mind when we were putting together THE NEED TO BREED. In fact, the number would have been the standard 10 models if we hadn't decided to include the RAWDITION scene of Ian Rawlings and myself fucking Jarred James. But it seemed like such a no-brainer to add that Rawdition to the movie so that people could see me doing the fucking for once. We now plan to include one Rawdition scene for each of the JUICED movies to follow.
Paul: JRL was the first to premier Juiced "The need to breed" [2007] and, according to the JRL Charts department, it's doing very well in rentals. What's the touch that brings men, twinks, bears and even fetish lovers to your product in retail?
Sean: I feel that the more diverse a cast is, the more people you can reach demographically, and thus you broaden your consumer base. I like to try and mix things up whenever possible. I think it's interesting to see black on white, young on old, white on black, old on young, latinos, bears, twinks: all of it! We are not looking for just one particular look when casting, but rather a buffet of raw, hungry talent to appeal to our customers.
Paul: Cre8tive Juices is exclusively distributed through powerhouse Marina Pacific Distribution. Do you feel any politics when it comes to the bareback issue with your distributor?
Sean: ---No, in fact Marina Pacific appears to me to be one of the best bareback distributors. They handle several BB lines and are quite competitive. They have done very well with the sales of our titles.
Paul: Just a follow up, do you feel that Marina Pacific promotes bareback as much as their condom features?
Sean: ---Yes, in fact more so.
Paul: Enough of politics..Any appearances in the works in retail store locations or nightclubs anywhere in America this summer?
Sean: Touring to promote our films is actually something I would like to step up and start doing. If you don't get out there and meet and greet the fans, I think there is a bit of a void, don't you think? Perhaps because I used to strip and travel when I was solely a model, I know the power of that intimacy that is reached when you can actually reach out and touch someone. I miss throwing freebies out to the crowd. Gay men LOVE freebies. They go WILD! It's a powerful interplay, for sure. I wish I could tell you where I am appearing next, but for the immediate future I am going to be making sure our next two films are produced here on the home turf.
Paul: Getting back to Juiced, tell me about these 12 specimens of yours. Enough to make a man's mouth water..
Sean: For starters, I conducted another poll via my Yahoo group and asked my fans who their favorite top was, and who their favorite bottom was (excluding Ian and myself). We found that Brad McGuire was by far the favored top and Drew Peters was by far the favored bottom. Fortunately, we had already shot a scene of Brad and Drew together that, I think, is one of the hottest scenes we have ever produced. I like to bring a little star-power to each movie by including performers that first made their names through condom-only films, and JUICED: THE NEED TO BREED has several: Brad McGuire, Drew Peters, Bo Knight, Chris Neal, myself. We also added some new flavors to the mix, such as the adorable pairing of real-life couple Aaron Young and John Kelley, big-dicked bareback performer Kevin Slater with hottie newcomer Colin Knight - who is Austin Shadow's real-life boyfriend, by the way. Erik Austin offered up his sweet ass again for us, and Ian and I Rawditioned newcomer Jarred James personally, who by the way passed with flying colors. You'll be seeing Jarred again, definitely.
Paul: Are any of the performers in your films exclusively signed to Cre8tive Juices and if not, how do you feel about exclusives?
Sean: I have mixed feelings when it comes to signing a model exclusively. I can see pros and cons with it. I know that when I was a model I feared going exclusive with anyone because i didn't want to feel trapped - especially if a great project came my way and I was forced to turn it down because I was under contract. But then on the other hand, going exclusive for a new performer can be a great platform for exposure. Also, when you think about it, if you go exclusive for a year, that really isn't so bad. But anything lifetime or more longterm makes me a little nervous - and again, I am speaking as a performer now. As a producer, we have not signed on anyone exclusively to date. If the right model came along, and we mutually worked it out, I would go for it. I have also found that certain companies I have worked for - Raging Stallion and Centaur, for example, have outsourced their exclusives to other companies. I remember when I shot MAN ACADEMY 2 for Centaur, Raging Stallion allowed their exclusive, Matt Sizemore, to appear in the Centaur film in exchange for Raging Stallion's name credit of Matt on the Centaur box cover. So when companies can work together for the greater good, that makes me happy. I've always hated having to feel like I am in competition with other companies. I look for win-win situations rather than win-lose situations. So if there is some wiggle-room in the contract, I would be more open to the idea of signing on exclusives.
Paul: The Fall Season kicks off September 17 Sean! What's up your sleaves or should I say ^(&*(&(*& ( for Cre8tive Juices this fall?
Sean: It's been a year since STORM SURGE hit stores, and we feel we have kept fans in suspense too long on what's up with that hurricane. So we will be filming the fourth STORM CHRONICLE - FEEDING FRENZY - to tie up that storyline. And I think FEEDING FRENZY has the potential to be our biggest film to date. I have already written the script, which includes our first gang bang scene and our first group orgy scene - both of which will be taking place during the fierce storm, with some of the hurricane footage bought direct, and some we filmed ourselves. I guess I have always felt some connection with the power of storms - just look at my last name. So I really want to get this movie right and mix in the storm footage with the sex footage. EPISODE 4 could definitely break out for us. At the same time we will be casting and possibly shooting stand-alone sex scenes for the all-sex JUICED 2: SLOPPY SECONDS. In fact, there is one scene for SLOPPY SECONDS that we already filmed late last year of Billy Lee London and myself flip-flopping each other. The scene marks the first time I have boned another model and cum in his ass.
