Paul: JRL Fans, please allow me to introduce to you twink stud Ryan Myers of Hyde Park Productions. How are you Ryan?
Ryan: I am doing great Paul and thanks for taking the time to talk to me.
Paul: Ryan, you are the first of four interviews that JRL has inked with Hyde Park Productions and I must say we are truly thrilled. Tell us about your part in Twink Dreams [2007]?
Ryan: Well, I am one of seven guys in Twink Dreams and the movie centers around my dream. I basically fall asleep outside and wake in the middle of nowhere in a meadow. The fun starts from there. We filmed way up in the Rocky Mountains over a week and it truly was dream-like because it was so beautiful. I wish I had dreams like that in real life because I would never get out of bed.
Paul: What was the hottest scene for you?
Ryan: Hmmm. That is a tough question. They were all hot..... I guess I would have to say my four-way with Vince Jon and Jamie. It was awesome with the mountains in the background and the chemistry was just perfect for us. We all just hit it off great.
Paul: Jamie Knight, Jon Jameson, Vince Broadway, Chris O'Conner, Bryan Payne and Luke Hendricks were also in Twink Dreams.....tell us how does it feel to work with other hot twink studs from the Hyde Park label?
Ryan: It was definitely a blast. Everyone was awesome and the whole cast got along great. We became friends off camera as well which just made the on camera action that much better. I was a bit nervous at first but who wouldn't be, right? We all spent one day at Water World in Denver going on the rides together and that really loosen things up and I felt so comfortable around everyone.
Paul: So tell me Ryan, how did you get hooked up with Hyde Park Productions?
Ryan:I had modeled for a smaller company before and really liked it. I love being in front of the camera! One day I was searching the internet and came across Hyde Park Productions and we started talking six months later and the rest is history. I was originally supposed to be in Lord of the Boyz earlier this year but I couldnt make it. If it was anything like this I am sure I would have enjoyed it also. Doug and Ted are great to work with and I can't wait for my next video to be filmed. That is Twink Awakening which is the first bdsm twink video for Dark Realm and will be shot in upstate New York next month.
Paul: What type of guys are you personally attracted to?
Ryan: If I could clone myself' just joking, but really twinks 18-24 in good shape and having a sense of humor is a major plus to me.
Paul: What motivated you to get into the gay adult film industry?
Ryan: I have always enjoyed entertaining and to be in front of the camera. The money is nice also. I think I am natural at it and my instinct motivated me.
Paul: Are you currently dating anyone? And if so, how do handle your professional career?
Ryan: I go out on dates all the time but no one exclusively. I make sure guys know what I do beforehand and they have to be alright with it for us to go further in a relationship.
Paul: We've seen twink stars sky rocket to the top and then fall from grace rapidly. Do you think it's because of the fast life they lead?
Ryan: I would have to assume it is... Me, personally, I try to remember my beginnings and stay humble. I don't see a need for the high life.
Paul: How do you keep your feet on solid ground? In other words, how do you stay away from the wild life? Or do you?
Ryan: I grew up poor living with my mom even though I have a fairly wealthy dad. If anything, it taught me that although going out and having fun is great, it isnt a way to lead your life.
Paul: Hyde Park Productions is an Award Winning Studio and they are known to release mega hits in America and Overseas. Do you feel any pressure by being with a company that is known for success?
Ryan: Pressure, of course. But I think my personal desire for success is greater.
Paul: What are your goals for your career?
Ryan: I would like to be a household name in the gay community. Not just because I am in videos, but because I want to help the gay community at large as I mature and that is my goal.
Paul: I had to ask you this one...How was the audition for Twink Dreams [2007]?
Ryan: I didn't do the casting couch interview that you see so much with other companies. All I did was submit my application online, was contacted by Doug and Ted for an online interview and followed up with a couple of phone calls. I guess my answers were good enough because now I am a Knightboy. The interview was almost as tough as this one [laughs].
Paul: Any shout outs to your fans Ryan?
