Josh: Thanks Jeff it's a great honor to be here...

Jeff: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have performed in over 15 gay xxx films to date including your brand new release with Bear Club For Men [2008]. You've worked for some of the giants of this industry....Arcade on Route 9 [2006- Titan Media/Io Group] to Verboten 1 and Verboten 2 [2007-Hot House/Titan Media], you were also featured in the No.1 hit on the JRL Weekly Top 100 and the GayVN Top 100 [October 2008] with King Size [2008-Hot House/Paladin] and the No.1 hit on the JRL Weekly Top 20 Bear chart which is also a Paul Barresi feature film entitled Muscle Bear Trap [2008]. How did you get into this business and..how did you start with the giants?
Josh: Actually I have done over 20 movies now... I've been a busy man over the last year or so. I was living in Salt Lake City, Utah when I began my attempt to enter the porn industry. I sent my pictures to Titan Media and within one week of sending them they contacted me, did a phone interview and then scheduled me for my first movie "Turned On - Manplay 23" [2006].

I did 3 movies with them over the next 4 months and 1 movie with Ray Dragon in New York City. Thanks go out to Titan Media and Ray Dragon for getting my career started!! Working with the "giants" has been an incredible experience!! My experiences with all the giants like Hot House, Channel 1 Releasing, Falcon/Mustang, Raging Stallion, Bear Omni Media, and Pac Sun have been incredible and I've been lucky to work with the best of the best!!
Jeff: The bear market has always been a somewhat smaller market in the Gay Adult Film Industry. What do you as a performer attribute this to?
Josh: Well honestly I think the word "Bear" in the past has been associated with hairy, big, overweight men and recently that image has been turning into more of the Muscle Bear image of big muscles, tight bodies and hairy hot bodies! I believe the word "Bear" has just been misused and that has really kept the bear market smaller.
Jeff: How do you feel about doing group sex scenes versus duo sex scenes? Is it more intimate with just one performer or is more exciting and a thrill to be in a group scenario?
Josh: I think both are very HOT!! I really enjoy the one on one scenario because it's fun getting to know your scene partner and trying to find out what turns him on and how to make him feel good... I consider it a personal challenge. On the other hand jumping into a group with a bunch of hotties is like being a kid in a candy store... You find a hot mouth, a hot ass or a big cock and just go for it. It's like being animals in heat!!
Jeff: Tell us about Bear Club For Men [2008] and how you came to be the headliner in the latest production from GayVN Hall of Famer Paul Barresi and Pacific Sun Entertainment?
Josh: Paul called me up and said he had a great movie planned and wanted me to be a part of it. Paul always has interesting ideas and can produce an over the top movie.
Pacific Sun Entertainment provided the means to make it happen. The premise of the movie is wealthy men going to a private club where they have their pick of men for hot wild sexual experiences. Once they have chosen who they want to be with the hot steamy sex begins!!
The wealthy men get to live out their wildest fantasy!! HOT!!
Jeff: How is it working with Barresi?
Josh: Barresi is an amazing director with a creative vision. He loves to add dialogue into the films to give them a story line. I've filmed some pretty wild dialogue scenes with Barresi. Some people say that I bring out the "muse" in him. He brings out the wild animal in me. Sometimes I think he is living vicariously through me. We get along great and I enjoy working with him.
Jeff: As a performer..I've got to ask this question because it is a deep issue in our industry. What are your feelings on bareback features?
Josh: I am a firm believer in free will and choice. I have made the choice to promote safer sex in our industry. I believe the health and well being of us as
Performers is imperative. I would never want to be put into a situation where I didn't feel completely safe and able to make a choice!
Jeff: Do you see yourself doing bareback feature films for a huge pay day as some performers have stated they are willing to do?
Josh: No I am firm in my conviction to uphold safer sex practices in films and everyday life.
Jeff: How's your personal social life? Any one special?
Josh: My personal social life is great. I have many acquaintances and a small group of intimate close friends. At this time I don't have any specific love interest, but you never know who may be waiting around the corner.
Jeff: How about performers who are lobbying to get residuals for their projects that they star in? What are your views on performers getting a piece of the pie?
Josh: That is a great question... I believe that all performers should be well rewarded for their work. Porn is like a work of art that can live on for generations. We as performers can reach many individuals in a very intimate way. With that thought in mind I agree that there should be an ongoing reward for the use of our images. We put ourselves out there enough that I think we should be getting a piece of the pie.

Jeff: Have you thought about producing and directing your own projects? And if so, who would you like to work with?
Josh: Well at this time that hasn't really crossed my mind, but I do see many performers that take it to the next level. If I decide to continue down this path I believe I have what it takes to produce great movies and to tune into what gay men are looking for. There are many directors that I would like to work with including all the directors I have worked with in the last few years!! Jeff: Let's get a little personal Josh...You were born in Logan, Utah. What did you do as far as education and work prior to joining the Gay Adult Film Industry?
Josh: Yeah Logan, Utah is a pretty small place, but had some great experiences growing up. As far as education I have a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in International Business. I have worked in Finance for the past 7 years and am now taking a short break to focus on my porn career.
Jeff: With the economy the way it is right now...retail is down between 10 - 14% in sales and, retail and retail web sites are down as much as 10% in rental and streaming. Do you find it harder to find work these days? And if so, how long do you anticipate this trend to go on?
Josh: Well being in the finance industry it is pretty scary right now, but I have complete faith in the loyal fans that I see every day. During times of hardship people do tend to need entertainment more than ever. I believe ice cream sales and movie sales are 2 of the things that tend to have an upward trend during economic hardship.

I am still very lucky to have appearances and other projects that keep me out and about among my fans. I am not sure how long this trend will last, but if I have my way it will be over after this interview <Smile>
Jeff: Do you ever stop at retail store locations to see if your titles are on the shelves?
Josh: I have to admit that I do that fairly often..
