Jeff: Jarett, welcome to JRL, how are you?
Jarett: Thank you so much for having me Jeff!
I am doing very well thanks! I have been very busy as im sure most everyone is; Getting ready for the fast approaching holiday season can not belive 2007
is almost over!
Jeff: I see we have a new look from you! It looks great...
Jarett: Yes, I have decided to go for the tall dark and hansom look its funny because EVERYONE either loves the short brown hair or loved the blonde curls. I personally just like change and like having new styles.
Jeff:
What made you cut all of the beautiful hair off?
Jarett: The long blonde hair was fun and a lot people recognize me by that hair. I had people tell me it would hurt my look by cutting it all off, I think things are okay! I just got tired of all that hair everywhere!
It was a lot!
Jeff: So tell us Jarett, how does it feel to be a part of the most popular film in gay xxx porn, Oliver Twink. Tell us the insight on this gay xxx feature from director Peter Z Pan?
Jarett: It feels really good to have had the opportunity to do this movie with PZP. Peter has always been a great person to work for. The movies that I have done with Peter Z Pan have all been "fun" movies, and by fun I mean" Not your typical porn. I had a lot of fun as well just shooting this movie. The movie was very well written an I feel came together very well. I have yet to actually view the movie all the way through, but from what I have seen and what I was present for, you cant go wrong with this one!
Jeff:
Let me get political on you. Oliver Twink is moving heavily in wholesale right now and should debut big on the JRL Weekly Top 100 in a couple weeks if not sooner. This gay xxx feature is condom! Critics state that condom features cannot outsell bareback features. Barebacking is a hot topic these days with performers and producers. Tell us your opinion on barebacking in gay xxx films from the performers perspective.
Jarett:
You know Jeff, this is a very hot topic and kind of a sticky topic. I personally do not like the idea of barebacking, it scares me. It is not something that I really want to do in the industry.
I am not trying to sounds preachy and I am not going to be hypocritical, I would be lying if I said I have never in my life done it. However, when that type of situation did occur it was not with a virtual stranger.
Not that knowing someone makes things safe or okay, but it is definitely different than just doing a scene for some cash with someone you may have NEVER even met. It is possible that the producer doesnt even know this person. To think of that type of situation really makes me worry. Just for making a little more cash than a normal video, you can really hurt yourself in many ways.
Jeff:
Some performers have stated that they've been offered outrageous amounts of money to perform a bareback scene. Some feel that this is paying for death!...From a performers view, is money everything in this business for barebacking?
Jarett: I don't know about "outrageous amounts", but I have been offered larger amounts of money to do bareback. I don't know if its because fewer people will do it so the money is better (to make it more appealing) or if its such a big seller that a producer can offer more. Either way I think there is a lot at stake for just a little more cash. Unfortunately, there are newbies out there that all they see is that dollar sign and we all know that money talks! At the end of the day though, I have to say' to each his own. I am not going to hate on or trash talk someone doing whatever they may want to do. Just hope that no one would do something they may regret later.
Jeff: So tell us..anyone special in the wings?.Or are you on the market? JRL fans want to know!
Jarett: Well Jeff, I am not on the market. I am currently working on a project' was that vague enough? "hahaha"
Jeff:
So when Jarett is shooting, making public appearances or doing interviews, what does
Jarett Fox do in his off time?
Jarett: I really enjoy being around friends and hanging out. I am a very outgoing person and usually have to be doing something. Anything from hanging out at the beach to having a drink or two with friends.
Jeff: What can fans of Jarett Fox and PZP Productions, expect in Oliver Twink?
Jarett: This movie has a lot of hot sex! I mean what else was anyone looking for?!! Right?! Okay, besides all the hot naked boys and all the action, it is a fun rejuvenation on an old story!
Jeff: Now Jarett, tell us how you hooked up with Peter Z Pan and PZP Productions?
Jarett: Well, once upon a time in a land far far'. "haha" nah I was working with a couple of companies on South Florida and was put in touch with PZP.
I did my first shoot with PZP, Chicken ala'Twink and the rest is history.
Jeff: What was your favorite scene in Oliver Twink? And, what secret "sizzling" act are we going to see in Oliver Twink?
Jarett: There is scene that I had a lot of fun with. It was a scene with a lot of dialog that I couldn't seem to get right!
I think we all got a really good laugh out of that scene! I didn't get to do my all time favorite position though!
Peter knows it is my FAVORITE position and he didn't include it in my scene! After the shoot it was one of the first questions my friend Rich asked me.
I was sad to tell him I didn't get the chance to do it!
Jeff: How long did it take to complete Oliver Twink?
Jarett:
I was only shooting my scenes and such for a few days, close to a week. The shooting for the movie all together didn't take to long!
Guess when its done right, a lot of action can happen in a short amount of time!
Jeff:
Jarett, thanks for taking the time to chat with me here on JRL and we wish you all the success with Oliver Twink and your future productions. Any hint as to what is coming next for Jarett Fox and PZP?
Jarett: Thank you very much again for having me! I hope the movie does very well! I honestly do not really know at this point.
The group at PZP and myself have not really decided on a next step on any plans.
Jeff: Retailers are really giving Oliver Twink a huge buzz...are you surprised?
Jarett: From what I have seen of the movie and from what I saw on set, No, I am not surprise at all.
This is a hot movie with a very sexy cast!
I am very glad to see the response that we are seeing, but I never doubted that PZP had a written and produce a great movie!
