Paul: JRL Fans, please give it up for the fabulous Jamie Knight of Hyde Park Productions and White Tiger Releasing. Jamie Welcome!
Jamie: Hi, thanks for having me Paul. It is an honor to be interviewed by JRL so I hope I do okay.
Paul: Trust, you'll be fine....First off, happy belated birthday. You just turned the magical number of 19. How does it feel?
Jamie: Oh [laugh]. Yeah, I just turned 19 and I feel so old now! My 18th yr was a total dream come true and I am so ready to do the same with my 19th yr. Is this the point where I get spanked now? My birthday was really fun though. I got a cool mountain bike from Hyde Park and managed to get into three crashes already!
Paul: You are the Headliner in both Twink Dreams [2007] and the upcoming release Twink Awakening [2007]. Both of course are on the Hyde Park Label. How does it feel to be a headliner in such an early part in your career?
Jamie:Yeah your telling me, it is incredible and all this happened in a matter of three months. I loose my virginity (for real) for the best twink video production company in Twink Dreams. Then fly to Albany, New York and star in a twink bdsm video, Twink Awakening. That was for Dark Realm Productions which is Hyde Park's brother company. I never thought that would happen so quickly. As for being a headliner, I think it is great to be in that position. It is weird to see my photos on the adult news sites and in magazines and I am amazed at how many fans I have.
Paul: When you moved to Phoenix, did you ever think that you would be a permanent member of the HPP staff as well as one of their top stars?
Jamie: I had no idea what I was getting in to but it turned out great. I do customer service and support for Hyde Park Productions and learning a lot about the business. I also love working with graphic design and who knows maybe I'll do graphics for a company like JRL sometime.
Paul: Hey, well make sure to keep us in the loop with that....Now Tell us about the cast you worked with in Twink Dreams and Twink Awakening. Did any sparks fly while shooting?
Jamie:Yes, actually in Awakening some sparks did fly for real. I was spanked with an electric paddle.Twink Dreams was perfect with the cast I had an awesome time interacting with everyone. In a way it reminded me of how fun it is to get all your friends together for a road trip or big vacation. That is what it felt like and I will always remember it that way. Everyone on the set was nice to each other, playing board games, hanging out, going on hikes, great meals and of course fucking.
Paul: Tell us a bit about you...Where you're from, what motivated you into getting into Gay Porn...etc..You know all of the good stuff?
Jamie:Well I am from a country area and moved to Flint, MI where I lived most of my life. After I turned 18 I decided I liked to do web cam shows for people and got into it a bit. That was until things got a little choppy at home and I had to stop. I then wanted to become an actor for movies but that did not work out either. Next I combined the few things I liked together.
I love twinks and being on camera. I'll sign up for it! I posted some ads on my profiles and after a few months I received tons of IMs from different porn companies. I talked to them all and checked them out. Then Hyde Park messaged me with an offer to go to Colorado where I could loose my virginity on set in Twink Dreams. I thought that special moment should be caught on film and it was good - and I mean damn fucking good. I was like this is definitely what I want to do! So I got into it not in a way just to make money but a way to get myself on camera, be around great people, you know like a vacation. It really is just like that for me.
Paul: You are currently shooting Frisky Twinks [2007] which is scheduled to drop in early 2008. How would you compare it to Twink Dreams and Twink Awakening? Is it more work or do you feel that you have to give more of a performance than the last time to keep your fans wanting more?
Jamie:Frisky Twinks is different and I know I will have to do something different every time or my fans will just be seeing the same thing over and over. That is why I like Hyde Park because there is so much to work with on location. Twink Dreams was great being outdoors in the mountains and so dream-like. Awakening I did something new and exciting. I had my ass in the air tied to the bed backwards while getting fucked downwards. That was cool. Frisky Twinks will also have something very different and I helped on the script. The cast in each movie was also different.
Paul: So Tell us about your social life. Any one special?
Jamie:Oh "social lif": well, I've never had a boyfriend before if that is what you are asking. I have lots of friends online and I talk to hundreds of people on messengers. Very difficult to keep track of whom you are talking to. Sometimes I talk to over 30 people at a time and it takes a while to reply to everyone. I meet a lot of other models and people in the industry so my overall social life is interesting.
Paul: The cast list that we received from the promotions department at Hyde Park shows that you're going to be working with Ryan Myers, Kyros Christian and Dillon Samuels (from Oliver Twink) and Jerrick Dalton. How can you keep your mind in one place with that much flesh running around the set?
Jamie: It is difficult to keep my mind in one place while on the set like you said. Especially with models that have been in other videos. Ryan and Jerrick I know since I have filmed with them. Dillon and Kyros were interesting to meet since they were in a few videos themselves. We filmed only part of the video last weekend in Scottsdale, AZ and I am looking forward to the next half of the shoot in Las Vegas. It will kick ass!
