PAUL GOLDBERG CHATS WITH SEAN STORM ON THE SUCCESS OF FEEDING FRENZY IN AMERICA

JRL fans, I have a special treat today! The Producer, Director and Star of the latest smash hit in America which by the way, Debuts At No.2 today in the U.S.A. on the JRL Weekly Top 100 with The Storm Chronicles Volume 4 "Feeding Frenzy" [2008].

JRL fans, give it up to the irresistable Sean Storm.

Paul: Sean, this is the first time that you have debuted at the No.2 spot in America on the JRL Weekly Top 100. Tell us, what makes Feeding Frenzy 4 [2008] so popular?

Sean: The quality and entertainment value of the first three Episodes in THE STORM CHRONICLES series allow customers and fans to expect a well-made, well-produced film, which FEEDING FRENZY delivers in spades.

The fact that FEEDING FRENZY debuted at number 2 tells me that fans have invested in these films, and they want to see what misadventures I am going to get myself into next. Also, two years have gone by since EPISODE 3: STORM SURGE was released.

STORM SURGE is one of our most popular films, and FEEDING FRENZY wraps up the hurricane-plotted storyline that had already been established, while at the same time opens up new themes to be explored in EPISODE 5.

Paul: How long did it take to put Feeding Frenzy [2008] together?

Sean: Actually, from idea conception to final edit, Feeding Frenzy [2008] took 4 years to complete, but I want to follow that statement up with a little clarity.

Back in 2004, when I first started seriously thinking about making my own films, the idea of doing a disaster-themed porno sprung forth. The two problems standing in the way were 1) I didn’t have my own porn studio yet, and 2) I needed some hurricanes to blow through so that I could film the storm footage. In 2005 I established Cre8tive Juices, and I also had a couple opportunities by way of Frances and Wilma to shoot some hurricane footage.

Before I could release what became "Feeding Frenzy" [2008], I first needed to establish a storyline to access it. You will notice that Hurricane Oliver is first mentioned in a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it moment in EPISODE 2: HOLE MILK.

Then we got closer to the actual hurricane with EPISODE 3: STORM SURGE. But then, after the third STORM CHRONICLE, we wanted to mix things up by releasing our first all-sex film, JUICED: THE NEED TO BREED. Finally, four years later, EPISODE 4: FEEDING FRENZY is released to the public.

Paul: What were you hoping to capture on screen for your fan base with Feeding Frenzy?

Sean: I wanted to create a realistic world so that the viewer really felt as if a hurricane was really happening in between the sex scenes.

Plus, the footage we have that stitch the film together is very impressive. I don’t think an adult film has ever been released against the backdrop of an actual hurricane, at least not on this level.

The shots of the rough ocean waters, the waves striking the Florida shoreline, and the destructive aftermath all enhance, and ultimately make the film all the more stronger. FEEDING FRENZY is a fun, popcorn flick in it’s own right. To have 7 full-length bareback scenes included in the mix is a unique experience for the fans.

Paul: How is Feeding Frenzy [2008] different from Direct Deposit [2005], Hole Milk [2006], former No.1 hit Storm Surge [2006] and Juiced "The Need to Breed" [2007]?

Sean: "Feeding Frenzy" [2008] is different in a number of ways from our previous releases.
First, FF is our first film shot in widescreen High-Definition, which totally enhances the hurricane experience. Second, we have our first group fuck scene in Feeding Frenzy [2008]. All of our movies in the past have been 2 ways, and we had one 3-way in STORM SURGE, so to now have 4-ways and more is a nice change of pace. Third, outside of my presence, all of the performers in FEEDING FRENZY are making their Cre8tive Juices debut with this film.

Paul: According to the JRL Charts department, you can in with extremely heavy rentals and according to our numbers, close to 575 retail store outlets had Feeding Frenzy [2008] in their Top 5 for this week. Are you surprised at how your fan base is really coming out for Feeding Frenzy [2008]?

Sean: It’s certainly encouraging, isn’t it, how the fans are showing their continued support of THE STORM CHRONICLES? Going back to the beginning with DIRECT DEPOSIT, producing plot-driven bareback films was an untapped market, and as such carried a tremendous risk for me and Cre8tive Juices.

Since my name is synonymous with the company, I literally put my ass out there on the line and opened it up without knowing how things would develop. I’m fortunate that things continue to go well for CJ Media.

Paul: Tell us about the sypnosis of this feature and why it's a collector's item for bareback lovers.

Sean: The plot behind FEEDING FRENZY is this: a hurricane is slamming into Ft Lauderdale, and me and some of my friends (and enemies) are all horned up to suck, rim and fuck our way out of it. The inclusion of real-life hurricane footage make the movie unique, which makes this films a collector’s item because of the innovative way the storm footage is blended in with the bareback sex scenes.

Paul: What's next for Sean Storm and Cre8tive Juices?

Sean: We have JUICED 2: SLOPPY SECONDS coming out next. I also have half of the script complete on THE STORM CHRONICLES: EPISODE 5: BATHHOUSE OVERNIGHTER. It’s going to be a lighter film in tone, with all of the activity taking place over the course of a single night at the baths. They say to write what you know about, right?

Paul: Will we be seeing Feeding Frenzy [2008] on VOD soon? Or, do you want to keep it in retail only for the time being?

Sean: FEEDING FRENZY will roll out onto VOD in time. I feel the film deserves to have its moment in the spotlight as a rental and in retail so that we can see what it’s maximum potential is.

Paul: Sean, thank you for taking the time out to chat with me for a moment on your latest blockbuster in retail.

Sean: It’s been a pleasure, Paul. I’m happy to see FEEDING FRENZY be a success for us, JRL, and to the fans around the world.z
