Paul Goldberg: JRL Fans, today we have the star of the mega hit Diary of A Porn Star [2009] here with us on JRL.

Paul Goldberg: Tell me what you've been doing over the past month? I hear you've been busy in a new Fresh SX production?
Kai Cruz: Well yeah we released the FreshSX movie ‘Diary of a Porn Star: Kai Cruz’ which was the first movie ever written about me and my life so I was really pleased FreshSX chose me to do this. It went to number 11 in the JRL charts so that was just amazing! I am also going to be working on a new FreshSX project soon – stay tuned to JRL for the news.Paul Goldberg: Things have changed over the past 10 years in the Gay Porn Industry. Models are stepping up to the plate to write scripts, direct their own films and co-producing them with their production studios.
You've directed scenes that you've starred in. Do you see this becoming the norm with more gay porn actors going behind the camera?

Kai Cruz: Yeah I think this is cool – I already tried some directing and I also did some filming with the FreshSX reality movies so I really wanna do more of that in the future.
Paul Goldberg: Have you ever thought about doing Double Penetration genre films or bondage and fetish?
Kai Cruz: I have done a few movies which have been a harder style so if something comes up that I would like to do then I may consider it.
Paul Goldberg: Kai, what are you thoughts on bareback genre? The reason why I want to ask this is because some models are firmly against it while others state that they enjoy it as long as safety protocols are in place. What are your feelings on the subject matter?

Kai Cruz: I have never been in a movie that featured bareback sex and it isn't’t something I want to be offered. We should all have safe sex whether in personal life or porn life. I like the fact that FreshSX have never shot even a single scene without condoms – I really respect that.
Paul Goldberg: We've seen an alarming increase in gay porn actors involved in criminal behavior here in the U.S.A. We've had gay porn actors arrested and sentenced for Murder, burglary and drug overdose. What do you think as a gay porn actor...what do you think is the rational behind these events taking place with performers?Kai Cruz: I don’t know over here in the UK we don’t seem to get this kind of stuff happening – I don’t know any gay porn actors who have been involved in anything serious like that here.
Paul Goldberg: Kai tell me, how did you first get started in the Gay Adult Film Industry?
Kai Cruz: Well my first scene was actually a solo scene on a boat which was really hot!
Paul Goldberg: Was it difficult to perform in front of a film crew for the first time?
Kai Cruz: No I loved it and still do!
Paul Goldberg: Who is your favorite gay porn actor to work with at Fresh SX?

Paul Goldberg: Are you open to doing in store appearances in retail stores to promote Fresh SX titles both in the EU and America? JRL fans as well as retailers want to know this one.
